[Grandia II]

Due for release in PAL territories around the 9th of February, Grandia II could be just about the last hurrah for RPG loving Dreamcast owners. With Sega's recent announcement of its shift to develop for other consoles, I'd imagine developer confidence in the Dreamcast is rather low at the moment. Oh well, Grandia II looks to be the RPG that DC owners have been waiting for.

*Update* Grandia II has finally been released! *Update*

[Boom!]

ABOVE: I believe the word is: Boom!

Wow! This is even better than I'd been expecting. Taking the original Grandia gameplay, and adding even more outrageously vibrant colors to the mix, Grandia II looks as surreal as it does amazing.

[Grandia II Advert]

ABOVE: A nice advert..

Grandia II stars your usual moody, bitter young hero, trying desperately to escape his secret past by travelling the world as a Geohound - Grandia II's style of mercenary. Of course, what good is a secret past if you can't dredge it up? None at all, of course, and with the help of a few choice assignments and the addition of some helpful comrades Ryudo will hack and slash his way through a life of torment.

[Aw crap!]
